We opened our doors in July 1999. They still were not automatic but with the determination of our founding fathers they would create what would be the first automatic door system developed in Brazil.
Like any beginning, it was not easy. As there were people who would try to discouraged these two visionaries. Shut in a room with two desks and two computers they went to work.
With their vast technical experience it was not long before they had a prototype in their hands. Some improvements here, some there, and what was once only a dream became a quality product. The two proud creators knew they were ready to present their company and its services to the world.
Since 1999 the company has evolved to be one of the largest automatic door manufacturers in the South American market capturing 25% of the Brazilian market. Bringing flexibility, innovation, cost saving and accessibility to a market that was totally dependent on imported products.
We then decided to bring the same ideas to manufactures in North America so in March 2007 we opened our automatic doors in Orlando, FL. To prove ourselves and our product as being “best in class” in safety and technology our products were tested by (UL) Underwriters Laboratories in Melville, NY to comply with ANSI 156.10 Industry standards that granted us the UL 325 and 991 certifications as well the FCC certification.
One of the key objectives of a VIPDOOR Solution is to keep the R&D in-house. That makes possible all year long development of new products and creation of personalized solutions to your customers.
